Bully Overcomer stars the charming characters, Dazza the Kangaroo and Shazza the Emu. The production is a unique and entertaining Australian story which retells Shazza the Emu’s experience with being bullied. Shazza becomes a Bully Overcomer by learning from the best of bully overcomers, Jesus Christ. She goes on a journey of trusting Him, walking in love and forgiveness.
Children will also learn to pray for others and share their faith.

Aussie Outback Adventures’ Bully Overcomer Musical, was created and written by Julie McAllan and daughter Sarah Grunewald.

Julie was born in country South-East Queensland, Australia. She is a singer/songwriter award winner. As an early childhood teacher, she used her own music for numeracy and literacy. From 2008 until November 2015, Julie was the Producer of an indigenous themed Australian preschool children’s television program. She continued to keep up her songwriting skills by writing educational songs for the show as well as jingles.
She was also a scriptwriter for the show. From early 2011 until end of 2015, Julie also produced a healthy living travelling musical which toured to remote areas of Australia. Julie is also an actor and character suit performer. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts as well as a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education.
Julie McAllan and husband Des have been married since 1990. They have three children, Larissa, Sarah & Josiah.

Sarah grew up under the umbrella of her Mother's many talents and learnt how to apply herself to any opportunity that comes her way. From growing up in an environment of servanthood, Sarah's passion in life is to bring the Love of God to the broken, lonely & hurt through Music. She currently resides in Oklahoma, USA with her husband Spencer.

The purpose behind this musical is mainly to be used as an evangelism tool for young children. Sarah overheard her young cousin telling his mother that one of his friends at school wanted to know Jesus but he didn’t know how to lead him to the Lord. After this instance, God pressed on Sarah and Julie’s heart to teach children on evangelism through music. With the Help of the Holy Spirit, Bully Overcomer came together.
