Heard his story on the radio and bought the book. Amazing testimony and shared with such humility and the book was equally gripping. I would recommend this book for everyone.

Excellent Read

Loved this book, seriously good read and a real life story. I emailed John Lawson and he sent me a reply the same day. this book answered many questions for me and has steered me on the right path

Fair Dinkum

I used to be in a biker gang and spent most of my life in and out of jail. I read this book because my mate bought it for me when i was in hospital. I thought it was going to be a ‘look at what a tough guy I am” kind of book but I was really happy to discover it wasn’t like that. I spent the next week on me back after me op and took me time reading it. I reckon its the best book i have read and I have asked me mate to bring his Pastor to see me so i can ask some questions this book made me think about.
You should read it!!

Totally Awesome book

We need more books like this, compelling, page turning and a must read.

This True Crime book that shares The Good News so clearly should be read by every Christian and then passed on to non christians so they get the message. John Lawson is not a stereotypical character, he is a real person and you can watch his interviews on YouTube.

Challenging

Powerful book that I could not get enough of. Great book to give to people that don't read Christian books because it don't look like one and don't give anything away on the covers. Buy it, read it and pass it on!!

Disappointing

I found the character a badly written, unlike-able stereotype. Not for me.

Top ten

This book definitely belongs in my top ten books of all time due to its sheer honesty and simple style. Credit to John Sealey for capturing Lawson’s story in such a compelling way. Well done for getting the Salvation message so clear and easy to understand.

Gripping from the start

Could not put this book down. Read it over two days and I have to say it’s a real ripper. Very rare to find a book like this in Christian stores. I mean like the kind of book you can confidently give away to non believers and you know they will deffo read it and get the Gospel. Buy this book and an extra copy to give away also if you know any blokes in prison then send them a copy.

Powerful

Compelling from the start, my family originate from Scotland so I could identify with this story. However I was shocked to read about what his dad did to him at a young age and how that shaped his life. I was always hoping that the main character would pull through and make better choices and yet I was intrigued when he got involved in serious crime. Powerful page turner that needs to be read by the gangs down in here Lower Hutt

I actually read this book the same day I got it. Not many books captivate me line this so yeah I highly recommend it for all.

Compelling page turner

Just read this book and all I can say is wow! I think it’s the best book I have ever read in terms of a true story designed to share the Gospel with non believers. Way to go....love it

Best True Crime

Love the way this book reads like a novel but is actually a True Story. I heard this man speak at an event in Adelaide in October and I could not wait to read his book. Very clever choice of genre to reach the lost!

Page Turner

Gripping from the start. One minute I emphasise with John Lawson and the next minute I am appalled at his choices...then I find myself rooting for him. great book and great twist at the end. Perfect to give away to people with no faith.

Wow, Powerful

I could not put this book down, read it two days and then went back for more. I heard a rumour that its going to be turned into a movie....hope they do it justice. one of the best true crime books I have ever read and what a fantastic way to share The Gospel with non christians....good on ya John Lawson
