My friend's tween daughters were hanging out at my place & I had this movie to review. They said they were happy to watch with me—but were they really? As the movie started, they were unusually quiet. As it flicked from modern times back to Bible times & the prophet Hosea, I gave it the thumbs up: well put together & a fantastic portrayal of how I imagined things would have really been for Hosea (I could have watched more of that!) But what did the girls think? The movie finished & there was total silence. A teenage thing? 'Did you like it?' I hesitantly asked. 'It was really good' was the response. I wondered if they were just being polite. The next day I heard from my friend they hadn't stopped talking about the movie—5 stars from the tweens! A great DVD to add to your collection—pre-order your copy today!
