In 1 Corinthians chapter 12 the apostle Paul writes, €œNow concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant.€ Sadly today many Christians are poorly equipped to understand what the Bible has to say about the Holy Spirit.
Throughout the Old Testament we see the revealed power of God referred to as the €œSpirit of God€ (at creation, anointing prophets, etc.). Yet clearly the Holy Spirit is more than just the FORCE of God, He is a Person. In the New Testament Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Triune God. To comprehend the character and conduct of the Holy Spirit you must understand that He is a Person, that He is God, and that He has a specific purpose.
This four-part study explores these topics related to the Holy Spirit:
Part 1 – €œThe Person & Deity of the Holy Spirit€
Part 2 – €œThe Work of the Holy Spirit€
Part 3 – €œThe Gifts of the Holy Spirit€
Part 4 – €œThe Fruit of the Holy Spirit€
