A peek beneath the glossy surface of 21st-century society exposes a chilling reality - a global slave trade responsible for the exploitation of over 27 million people. Look a little closer and you uncover an industry that thrives on the degradation and brutalization of these individuals, many of them young girls, through sex slavery. Nefarious unveils the atrocities inherent in this heinous industry - the deceptive process of recruitment and kidnapping, the sub-human living and working conditions, the physical, mental, and spiritual torment inflicted on those enslaved - details made all the more disquieting by overt government complicity and societal indifference.

Christian filmmaker Benjamin Nolot set out to capture a glimpse of the human trafficking industry. Over the next four years, his glimpse became a journey of discovery, yielding over 800 hours of footage and a penetrating look into the nefarious, closeted underworld of human trafficking.

Impacting and Motivating

Nefarious is such a powerful and hard hitting documentary that is called us into prayer and action towards the modern day slavery of Sex trafficking.
Incredibly sad statistics and scenes really break your heart, whilst inspiring you into action.
God is good, and is calling his people out of neglecting his Children, into the light of reaching others!
